We would like to invite all of our residents to complete the Parish Survey, which will help us to try and accommodate the needs of the village over the course of the next 5-10 years. The results of the survey will in turn shape the Parish Plan
Previous Parish Plans have led to improving the amenities of the village, with successful bids for grants to rebuild the Village Hall, and to create and improve facilities on the recreation ground.
The village has seen a shift towards younger families, therefore the Parish Plan will be key in terms of accommodating this change, whilst at the same time maintaining its ability to meet the needs of the more established residents.
Recent external events – in particular COVID-19 – have forced us to change how we live and have started to bring a greater sense of community, which will also play a part in our future needs.
The survey will be going out to the entire village in paper form when we publish the next edition of the informer, however for those of you that are “Internet-savvy”, it will be extremely helpful to have the survey completed online to help collate the responses.
If you could take 5 minutes to complete the survey, it will be extremely beneficial for all of us. Furthermore, if there are any other views or comments you have – or if you would like to get involved with the parish plan, then please drop a line to councillor.osullivan@todwick-pc.gov.uk
The link to the survey is here and thank you for helping us to shape our village’s facilities
